Other clips show AI programs manipulating videos of world leaders having them say things that they didn&#8217;t really say. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deep fakes are not new, but they&#8217;re getting better&#8230;and therein lies the rub. As the technology improves, our trust and confidence in what we&#8217;re hearing and seeing begins to erode.
