Ten years ago today David Fincher’s movie about the founding of Facebook hit the theaters. The Social Network<\/em> was a box-office success raking in nearly $225 million worldwide and earning a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Wikipedia, ” At the 83rd Academy Awards<\/a>, it received eight nominations, including for Best Picture<\/a>, Best Director<\/a>, and Best Actor<\/a> for Eisenberg, and won three: Best Adapted Screenplay<\/a>, Best Original Score<\/a>, and Best Film Editing<\/a>. It also received awards for Best Motion Picture \u2013 Drama<\/a>, Best Director<\/a>, Best Screenplay<\/a>, and Best Original Score<\/a> at the 68th Golden Globe Awards<\/a>. In 2016, it was voted 27th among 100 films considered the best of the 21st century<\/a> by 117 international film critics.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
